How It Works:

  • The NEO-6M GPS Module uses a network of satellites in orbit to determine the precise location of the receiver.
  • The module receives signals from multiple satellites, calculates the time it took for the signals to reach the receiver, and uses trilateration to compute the latitude, longitude, altitude, and speed.
  • The GPS module communicates with external devices (e.g., microcontrollers) via UART, sending GPS data in a standard format, usually NMEA sentences (e.g., GPGGA, GPRMC, etc.).
  • The module outputs data such as:
    • Latitude and Longitude: Position of the GPS receiver on Earth.
    • Altitude: The height above sea level.
    • Speed: The current speed of the receiver (in knots, km/h, or mph).
    • UTC Time: Current time, as determined by the GPS satellites.

The same effort is applied throughout the week including weekdays and sometimes weekends and public holidays as well. We facilitate local pickup (self-pickup for the local customers) on the weekdays and partially on weekends also.

This item is covered with a standard warranty of 15 days from the time of delivery against manufacturing defects only. This warranty is given for the benefit of Ercoms customers from any kind of manufacturing defects.  Reimbursement or replacement will be done against manufacturing defects only.

What voids warranty:

If the product is subject to misuse, tampering, static discharge, accident, water or fire damage, use of chemicals & soldered or altered in any way.
